Get a CT Marijuana Card

A Connecticut resident must be diagnosed by a doctor with at least one qualifying medical condition to qualify for a medical marijuana card.

Qualifying Medical Conditions

– Cancer
– Glaucoma
– HIV
– AIDS
– Parkinson’s disease
– Multiple sclerosis
– Epilepsy
– Cachexia
– Wasting syndrome
– Crohn’s disease
– Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
– Sickle cell disease
– Severe psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis
– Severe rheumatoid arthritis
– Spasticity or neuropathic pain derived from fibromyalgia
– Hydrocephalus with intractable headaches
– Post herpetic neuralgia
– Intractable headache syndromes
– Neuropathic facial pain
– Muscular dystrophy for adolescents
– Osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease) for adolescents
– Post-laminectomy syndrome with chronic radiculopathy (back pain as a result of surgery)
– Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS)
– Ulcerative colitis
– Complex regional pain syndrome
– Damage to the nervous tissue of the spinal cord with objective neurological indication of intractable spasticity
– Cerebral Palsy
– Cystic Fibrosis
– Terminal illness requiring end-of-life care
– Uncontrolled intractable seizure disorder
– Hydrocephalus with intractable headaches
– Intractable headache syndromes

Qualifying Medical Conditions for Minors

– Cerebral Palsy
– Cystic Fibrosis
– Irreversible spinal cord damage with objective neurological indication of intractable spasticity
– Severe epilepsy
– Terminal illness requiring end-of-life care
– Uncontrolled intractable seizure disorder

Other Qualifying Conditions

– Must be at least 18 years of age
– Must be a resident of Connecticut
