BluePoint Wellness recently announced that the doors are open to serve Connecticut’s medical marijuana patients. The dispensary is located on Post Road East in Westport. Connecticut has about 8,300 medical marijuana patients in Fairfield County, where the dispensary is located.
BluePoint Wellness and Advanced Grow Labs are working together in a joint venture project for expansion, Westport News reported. Patients don’t have to drive to Milford, Bethel or Branford to purchase their medical marijuana anymore. A bit of controversy and a few bumps in the road delayed the opening of the dispensary that submitted its initial application back in March of 2018.
Nick Tamborrino of BluePoint said, “I was never an advocate for cannabis. I look at this as a medicine and a new career opportunity as pharmacists. But seeing it firsthand the positive influence and results it has on patients’ lives has been unbelievable.”
Former skeptics regarding the potential of marijuana as an alternative treatment are becoming believers after seeing improvements in their friends and loved ones across the state.
